About Us
MarkupMaze is a project focused on practical PHP learning. We believe in a sequential approach where each topic builds on the previous one. Our courses are designed for learners who want clear, structured content with applied examples.
The project began as an internal initiative between developers working on large web systems. We decided to turn our shared experience into a collection of logical and structured materials that cover the essentials of PHP development.
Our goal is not to cover everything at once, but to present topics in a clear, consistent, and practical way. We prioritize quality and clarity, breaking down complex ideas into manageable steps.
PHP remains one of the most widely used languages in web development, and our task is to show how it can be applied efficiently today.
Our content spans different levels — from understanding variables and conditionals to building full-featured applications with authentication, database interaction, and API communication.
Each course is designed to be complete and focused. We organize topics so learners can stay concentrated and move forward with a solid foundation.
MarkupMaze is led by two professionals with extensive experience in PHP. Their work across real projects has given them deep insight into backend systems, data structuring, and scalable logic.
Michael Everett – PHP Software Architect with a focus on system logic, modular architecture, and code optimization.
Lauren Mitchell – PHP Backend Specialist with years of experience developing complex server logic, handling API requests, and building backend features across multiple projects.
Our foundation is structure, clarity, and applied thinking. Every decision in our courses is based on real development experience. We don’t just provide topics — we build a full learning flow with logic, depth, and direction.
MarkupMaze is a space for those who want to understand PHP through meaningful and structured learning.
